Jonathan Burton
Creator of CarBot Animations
Roles: Owner, Animator, Storyboard, Social Media, Project Manager, Director, writer
Born Feb 4th, 1988 Fonthill, Ontario, Canada
Started the CarBot Animations YouTube channel in August 2012 while going to school for a 4 year animation course at Sheridan college in Ontario Canada. After 2 years and a tough decision, he left school to pursue CarBot Animations full time. It started as a solo project but has grown to a family business.
Justine Burton
Roles: Office Administrator
Carries the team, makes sure the taxes are done and everyone is paid. We are at her mercy.
Justine and Jonathan were married in August 2011 and bought him his first drawing tablet for his birthday. That $200 investment lead to Jonathan beginning the CarBot Animations channel. You could say it all happened because of her.
Sam Burton
Role: Audio & Sound Effects Editor, Assistant Writer
Joined the team in 2013. Some episodes are improved drastically in the editing and even creates its identity. One that stats out is WowCraft Ep 28 Eversong Woods. Sam no longer is the main audio editor since the StarCrafts finale but still helps produce ideas.
Andrew Burton
Role: Animator, Storyboard, Episode Writer
The main animator and writer for many of the WowCraft episodes. Older brother to Jonathan. Andrew when to Sheridan College for animation first inspiring Jonathan to join him a couple of years later which ended up in the creation of carbotanimations.
Alex “Lesllee”
Role: Animator
All the way in the Ukraine Alex was inspired to animate in a similar style to CarBot Animations but parodying DOTA 2. Gaining hundreds of thousands of subscribers he caught the attention of CarBot Animations who loved their work so much they offered to hire Alex full time. Alex is now a big part of the team.
Jordan Burton
Role: Audio & Sound Effects Editor
Played Blizzard games since the beginning, a WoW player since release and now apart of the CarBot team. Taking on the mantle of Sam, he has big shoes to fill. Can he do it? Find out next time…
